A Windsor French Catholic high school is $10,000 richer.
E.J Lajeunesse won a national competition held by TFO media group, which is the Canadian publicly funded French language educational TV channel.
As part of the competiton, they won $10,000 which will allow students to makeover a space or classroom. Parents and adults at the school had to vote for the school in order to win the competition and E.J. Lajeunesse won.
School Principal Thomas Couvillion says it's a big win for the school.
"It is really promoting techology and French language," says Couvillion. "So basically we sent out to our student body and parent groups and using the social networking processes that are ever so popular."
As part of the prize, the school also receives tablets and online access to magazines and resources in french.
