Windsor Regiment Celebrates 80 Years

A march and ceremony took place Saturday.
The Windsor Regiment is celebrating 80 years.
A march and ceremony took place Saturday at City Hall Square followed by a memorial service at the downtown Cenotaph.
Retired Colonel, Georges Rousseau, says it was a celebration for the Freedom of the City allowing them the privilege to march into the city with drums beating and colours flying.

He says it's one of the esteemed honours a community can bestow upon a military unit.
The ceremony and march proceeded to the Chimczuk Museum, where the unveiled a new exhibit dedicated to the Windsor Regiment.
