The matter is in the initial stages

Windsor police are investigating a death at a home in the downtown area.

The call came in around 10:37am on Thursday for a sick or injuried person in the 500 block of Church St.

At one point, officers were seen adjusting a tarp on the balcony on the second floor back staircase of a house that was cordoned off with police tape.

Police confirmed to CTV Windsor that it is a death investigation, but say there is nothing to indicate anything suspicious at this time, however the matter is in the initial stages.
