Windsor's losing skid was short lived after downing Kingston at the Leon's Centre Sunday.
Spitfire Connor Corcoran netted his second of the season just 6:00 into the first before Jason Robertson answered bat to bring things even at 1-1. Tyler Angle and Curtis Douglas scored just minutes apart to pull Windsor ahead 3-1 to end the frame 2-1.
Thomas Stevens added an insurance goal to start the second that chased Frontenac's tender Ryan Dugas from the net.
Brett Neumann added one more for Kingston on the powerplay, but it was too little too late at the Spitfires took the game 5-2.
Michael DiPietro stopped 38 of 40 shots for Windsor and first star of the game honours.
Windsor remains in fourth place in the OHL's West Division.
The Spitfires host the Barrie Colts Thursday night at the WFCU Centre - puck drops at 7:05pm
