Watson Lends Support To MPP Hopeful Chris Lewis

A special guest dropped by at a campaign kick-off rally for Ontario PC Candidate for Essex Chris Lewis.
Supporters gathered to hear Lewis and former Essex MP Jeff Watson speak at the AMA Sportsman Club in Amherstburg Friday.
Watson tells AM800 News Lewis is the perfect person to dethrone NDP incumbent Taras Natyshak, who's failed to clean up a "mess" left by the Ontario Liberal's.
"Cleaning up the mess from [Premiere] Kathleen Wynne of course this region has had unfortunately Taras Natyshak for a number of years now, who's collecting a big six-figure-salary, but really is not doing anything and he's not delivering anything for the region."

Lewis says a safer, wider, Hwy. 3 is a priority.
"Highway 3 will continue to be vital for me, it is for a lot of people," he says. "Unfortunately they haven't had a real seat at the table with their hands on the purse strings that could really get it done."
Transitioning more youth towards skilled trades jobs will also be a priority, Lewis added.
"We desperately need skilled trades, I knock on a lot of doors as well as business and I hear the very same message over and over," says Lewis. "We could do a lot more business right here in Essex if we had skilled trades."
The provincial election is June 7.
