The LaSalle Vipers take a 2-1 series lead over the Leamington Flyers in their second round GOJHL playoff series.
It was a well contested game with the Flyers coming on strong in the third period, outshooting the Vipers 14-7. Shot totals for the game favoured the Vipers 30-29.
It started off chippy with both teams taking a total of 12 penalties, including fight majors for LaSalle's Frank Zak and Leamington's Nicolas Mainella. Along with Zak and Mainella, Leamington's Noah Hendrick was also given a game misconduct.

Manny Silverio had the game winner and Daniel Beaudoin scored an empty net goal for the insurance marker.
The Flyers opened the scoring through Blake Blain in the first period before Liam MacDougall and Brett Banwell would respond for the Vipers in the second period.
Liam Hogan had the other Flyers goal.
Game 4 goes in Leamington tonight at Highbury Canco Arena. Puck-drop is set for 7:10pm.
