In the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League the LaSalle Vipers moved into a first place tie with the London Nationals by beating Strathroy 5-3 at the Vollmer Centre.
It was a wild first period that saw the Vipers jumped out to a 3-0 lead less than ten minutes into the contest.
LaSalle had a 5-2 lead after one and the only goal after that was scored by Strathroy's Mark Bastow.
Brendan Soto scored the game-winner for the Vipers and also added an assist.
The Vipers take on the second place Flyers tonight in Leamington.
