The Windsor Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2018-19 lineup.
Music Director Maestro Robert Franz says the 71st season will include shows featuring music from West Side Story, Mozart's Requiem, Harry Potter as well as Prince and David Bowie.
He says the 2017-18 season has been well received with many sell-outs at the Capitol Theatre.
Franz says next season will be a busy one for the orchestra.
"We have 14 subscription weeks from the end of September to the beginning of May," says Frantz. "So sometimes it's a couple times a month, it just kind of varies, it depends. So each series is spread out evenly but sometimes those series may bump into each other week to week."
Franz says music from David Bowie and Prince will be on display.
"Jeans and Classics is a group out of London that does all of these incredible shows of cover hits," he says. "This particular show that we're bringing in next year is the music of David Bowie and Prince. This year for instance, next week we're doing the music of Woodstock with the same group."
The 2018-19 season begins in September and wraps up in May.
Franz adds there will also be a concert on Remembrance Day, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1.
