Windsor police continue to investigate a fatal crash that claimed the life of a 17-year-old.
Police were called around 10:20pm Thursday to the corner of Cabana Rd West and Roxborough Boulevard.
An investigation revealed a 17-year-old boy had been riding a motorcycle when it collided with a minivan driven by a 46-year-old man.
The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police would like to remind motorists that as the warmer weather approaches, to be aware of your surroundings and look out for pedestrians, motorcycles and bicycles.
Meanwhile, Vincent Massey students are mourning the loss of a fellow classmate.
This students went to elementary school with the victim.
She says he was well liked by everyone.
"He was a really funny kid, all the teachers loved him and all the students loved him."
At this time, the public school board and Windsor Police are not releasing the victim's name.
