UPDATE Careless Use of Lighter Blamed for Fatal Fire
Windsor fire officials say damage to the building is pegged at 100,000
An Ontario Fire Marshal investigation has revealed the careless use of a lighter led to the death of a Windsor woman.
Crews were called to the 3400-block of Erskine St. near Drouillard early Tuesday morning.
Heavy smoke was found on the second floor.
The woman passed away from injuries related to the fire.
