Transit Windsor is ready for opening day.
Executive Director Pat Delmore says Transit will have an additional eight to 10 special event buses crossing the border for the Detroit Tigers game.
He says in past years, more than 1000 people used the service.
Delmore says it's a busy day.
"We know opening day is a big day and last year there was well over 1000 people that used our bus. We know a lot of them are going over just for some of the festivities in the area, some of them stay well into the evening so it's a busy day all around, it's not just during that time of the ball game," says Delmore.
The special events bus will begin to leave the downtown bus terminal around 10am.
The regular tunnel bus service is also operating.
