Royals rally in the ninth to trim the Tigers 43

The Tigers' four-game winning streak was snapped as they lost to the Royals 4-3 last night in Kansas City

Detroit was down 2-1 in the ninth when Mikie Mahtook hit a two-run homer to take a 3-2 lead.

In the bottom half of the inning, Justin Wilson blew his second save of the year as KC came back with two runs to win the game.

Starter Justin Verlander got a no-decision after giving up two runs on six hits while striking out eight in seven innings.

In tonight's series finale, Michael Fulmer goes to the mound for the Tigers, while the Royals counter with Danny Duffy.
