Canadians spotted an average of three UFO's a day in 2017.

That's according to Manitoba-based Ufology Research has released its 2017 survey on UFO sightings across the country.

The survey also indicates there were three reports of a UFO in Windsor-Essex.

Just after 11pm on July 15th of last year, a person in Windsor reported seeing a small light travelling north before it changed direction three times and disappeared.

A fast moving light was reported in Kingsville on the evening of August 13th of 2017.

Around 1pm on October 24th, someone in Windsor reported seeing a silver sphere rise up from a treeline, like a tear drop, before becoming a sphere. It then flickered and vanished.

That sighting received a 6 out of 10 in the "strangeness factor" and a 5 out of 10 in terms of reliability.

In 2016, there were two reported UFO sightings in Windsor and one in Kingsville.

Among the less reliable cases: someone said a three-foot-tall alien was seen last June in Rothesay, N.B. crouching and “poking at some bushes.” In Toronto, someone said they were watching lights flashing in the sky when suddenly a group of aliens appeared beside their car.

The group says there were just over 1,100 sightings of unidentified flying objects across the country -- an average of three a day.

Around 8% of those were deemed unexplainable.

Quebec had the most sightings at 518, while Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton topped cities with the most UFO reports.

Ufology Research says while the number of sightings remains high, there is no concrete evidence that UFO cases involve extraterrestrial contact.
