A crash in Tecumseh that tied up traffic in the busy afternoon rush hour has led to charges against a woman.
Wednesday afternoon at about 3:30 the OPP were called to Lesperance Road and Tecumseh Road East where a white SUV had knocked down a utility pole.
Officers spoke to the female driver who told them she had failed to negotiate the turn.
Police noticed signs of impairment and the woman was arrested at the scene.
33-year-old Kimberley Greenwood faces numerous charges.
In addition to an impaired driving charge she is also charged with driving under suspension, driving with no license and making an unsafe turn.
