Many Windsorites are not working today or going to school because it's Family Day.
A handful of people took to the ice at Charles Clark Square and there's a good sized crowd at Adventure Bay.

"Because it's family day and a beautiful day outside and ice is perfect, so I'm glad I am. It's nice to have the place to ourselves. Yeah, it's perfect we can't believe we're the only ones out here right now. It's a beautiful day for it"
St. Christopher School classmates Luke Morin and Rowan Nesbitt laced up their skates twice today.
"We came here to skate and then it was nice because we got the ice to ourselves." said Morin and Nesbitt added, "It's just really fun and it's really nice to actually make some friends around here"
And of course the Windsor Spitfires are playing Owen Sound in a Family Day matinee.
