It's Day 2 of the 6th annual "Staycation Expo" at Devonshire Mall.
The event opened Friday night and is organized by Tourism Windsor-Essex-Pelee Island. Vice President of Tourism Programs and Development, Lynnette Bain, says the expo features more than 30 vendors.
She says they range from wineries to craft beer along with birding and biking, nightlife and area municipalities.
"We are getting a lot of credibility for our local wines," says Bain. "People are noticing our visitor numbers are up, there's a lot of things to see and do, look at all the event."
Bain says the expo showcases local businesses, events and activities in Windsor-Essex.
"It's just an opportunity every year that we get out with our tourism stakeholders and our local beverage producers to really showcase why people need to get out and explore Windsor and Essex County, we don't realize often what's in our own backyard," says Bain.
The tourism displays are set up at the mall from 9:30am until 6pm today.
