The Soo Greyhounds have snapped the Windsor Spitfires three game winning streak.
The Soo picked up 4-2 win Thursday night at the WFCU Centre.
Windsor had a 2-1 lead halfway through the second period but could not hold on for the win.
Spits forward Curtis Douglas scored his 23rd of the season on the power play.
"I thought we played good, " says Douglas. "There's a couple little things we needed to do defensively and even in the offensive zone and to tighten up our game and I think we got a great chance with one of these teams in the first round of the playoffs."
Spits Head Coach Trevor Letowski says the team played well but came up on the wrong end.
"It's a team we obviously want to beat," says Letowski. "It's a possible first round playoff match up and we like the way we're playing coming in so it was a game we thought we could win at home, give ourselves a chance obviously. I mean one mistake on our power play break out and Frost makes you pay."
Will Cuylle picked up his 24th of the season for Windsor.
Morgan Frost had two goals and an assist for the Soo including the game winner.
The Greyhounds are ranked ninth in the country.
The Spitfires next OHL game is Saturday night when they welcome North Bay to the WFCU Centre.
