The Windsor Spitfires are looking to gain some ground with two games over the weekend.
Windsor plays in Flint against the Firebirds Saturday night.
Assistant Coach Trevor Letowski says they'll get Christiano Digiacento back from suspension.
He says other players out with injuries are a question mark.
"Logan Brown is in Ottawa right now and he's just getting his conditioning back and working with the doctors there. We're hopeful, he's day to day, but we're hopeful to get him back but we don't know when."
Letowski says the West Division is tough right now.
"Our conference is very competitive. We've been getting a lot of points lately and it seems like we can't get any distance between the top teams. Anytime you lose one it seems like you've got catching up to do."
Saturday's pre-game show gets underway on AM800 at 6:45pm with puck drop at 7pm.
On Sunday, the Spitfires play the Saginaw Spirit in a historic game at Joe Louis Arena to commemorate the Red Wings final season at the facility.
That game goes at 4pm the the pre-game show beginning at 3:45pm.
