The Windsor Spitfires scored first, but couldn't hold off the Erie Otters losing 4-2 at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night.
Julius Nattinen and Connor Corcoran had the goals for the Sptifires.
Alex DeBrincat scored his 61st goal of the season — his 18th straight game with a goal.
Micheal DiPietro made 28 saves on 32 shots.
The Spits were outshot in every period. The Spitfires were only able to throw 18 shots on the Erie net with Troy Timpano making 16 saves.
The Windsor Spitfires next play the Sting in Sarnia on Friday before returning to the WFCU Centre on Sunday for a 2:05pm game against the Flint Firebirds.
