Spieth Wins British Open

Spieth claims Open Championship at Royal Birkdale in England

American Jordan Spieth is wearing the crown of the 2017 Open Championship.  

Spieth finished at 12-under par at Royal Birkdale in England to win his third major.  

The 23-year-old from Dallas, Texas fired a final round of one-under to beat runner-up Matt Kuchar by three strokes.  

Spieth also captured the 2015 Masters Tournament and U.S. Open.  

Haotong Li finished third at six-under, while Rory McIlroy and Rafa Cabrera Bello tied for fourth place at minus-five.
