Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
15-20 cm of snow is expected between Saturday night and Monday morning.
Environment Canada says the first snowfall of the season is due to a low pressure system from Colorado that will make its way to the Great Lakes Sunday.
Highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Environment Canada will continue to monitor the incoming storm.
