On November 25, a father and daughter were crossing into Windsor via the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel.
They were driving a vehicle borrowed from the daughter's boyfriend.
A search found an undeclared handgun in the glove compartment and both the father and daughter were arrested.
The pair, who claimed to have no knowledge of the gun, were given a $1,500 fine and the weapon was seized.
In a separate incident earlier in the month...
Two US residents were entering Canada on the Ambassador Bridge.
They claimed to have no firearms in the vehicle, but a search resulted in two undeclared handguns.
During the booking process officers determined the pair were not familiar with the border crossing process.
They were released after paying a $500 fine.
Their guns were seized as well.
