The 48th annual Windsor Santa Claus Parade takes place tonight in Old Sandwich Towne.
The parade begins on Riverside Drive at Atkinson Park and heads west on Sandwich Street finishing off at Brock Street.
Windsor Parade Corporation Executive Director, Maggie Durocher, says this year's parade is loaded.
"We've got a loaded parade this year. Beautiful entries, we have eight marching bands, we got a number of horse units, some gorgeous floats and if what we've seen in the last couple of parades out in Kingsville and Amherstburg is any indication, I think the people are really going to enjoy it."
She says she's expecting a large turnout.
"The crowds are spectacular and that's awesome because I think it gets the bands, all the rest of the entries such a boost when they're walking down the road and they see people six and seven deep on the roadway and on the sidewalks."
The parade has over 50 entries which include horse units, marching bands and of course Santa Claus.
The parade starts at 6pm.
There will be no parking on Sandwich Street beginning at 3pm.
