The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers for its annual Christmas Kettle campaign.
Spokesperson Shannon Wise says just one, three-hour shift is all that's needed. "Volunteers that we have had in the past have been wonderful. We need more this year and we really have an urgent need for them. So we are really pushing and looking for volunteers to just sign up for really a three hour shift, which is really all you need, so if you do have a little bit of extra time we are pretty flexible."
The goal this year is $270,000.
