Milton MP Lisa Raitt was in Windsor Saturday to drum up support in the battle for the federal Conservative leadership. A small group gathered at Lilly Kazzilly's in east Windsor to hear what she might have to offer.
Raitt says the progress of the new Gordie Howe International Bridge is something to keep an eye on.
"I set up the crown corporation," she says. "Worked with Govenor Snyder. Worked with the board here in Windsor and really got it off the ground, and I'm fearful the liberals aren't going to follow through on it because I know how important it is."

Despite Windsor's employment rate dropping from 5.7% to 5.3% after the New Year.
Raitt says the economy is still the main concern.
"The economy is what drives every constituency in Canada. People are worried about their jobs. People are worried about their retirement. They're worried about their parents' health. They're worried about their kids getting jobs. "
Raitt is the second of the fourteen federal Conservative leadership hopefuls to visit Windsor.
Maxime Bernier made a campaign stop earlier this month.
