Police Lay Charges In Downtown Windsor Stabbing

Police were called to Ouellette and University on Sunday

Windsor Police have laid charges following a downtown stabbing over the weekend.

At approximately 1:30am on Sunday, officers responded to a reported stabbing at Ouellette and University Avenues.

Police say they found a 19-year-old male suffering from an apparent wound.

The victim was transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say around 3am they arrested a 22-year-old male suspect on Drouillard Rd. and Ontario St. without incident.

Tori Tremblay is charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.

Police continue to investigate.
