Pelee Islander II Officially Being Entered Into Service
An event and tours will be held Friday afternoon
The public will get a chance to tour the state-of-the-art Pelee Islander II.
Ontario Transportation Minister Jeff Yurek will be in Leamington for the "Celebrate the Shore -- Welcoming Event" at 2:30pm Friday.
Tours of the vessel will take place between 3:30 and 5pm.
We should also find out when the ferry will make her first scheduled run to Pelee Island.
The ceremony will be at the Pelee Island Ferry Terminal.
Ministry of Transportation spokesperson, Kersondra Hickey says people will be "wowed" by the facilities the vessel offers.
