Potential new students and parents got an in-depth look at the University of Windsor.
The school opened its doors Saturday for prospective students and their families, learning more about the academic programs it has to offer.
Katelyn Doyle says she travelled from New Market to check out the dramatic arts program.
"I like the strong sense of community that they seem to have. Seems different from the other programs I've looked at. I have friends in the BFA Acting program as well, and I've heard many great things so I just wanted to come check it out."
Katelyn's father, Jason Doyle, says he was impressed with the tour.
"The faculty seems extremely good. They are extremely open and friendly, great presentations in the drama department for sure. So it looks very promising."

Sue Adams travelled from Grand Bend to tour the school with her daughter and says she loves the university.
"Just overall, the whole campus, the size of the campus, the size of the classes. It's just much more of a personal feel."
Mother, Jenny Van Heerde, from New Market says this is the perfect school for her daughter.
"A lot of the professors do a lot of one-on-one, so the class sizes are smaller, so I think that's a good aspect. Emily has teachers in high school right now that she has a good relationship with. She knows she can go and speak with them. So if she knows she can have that here, it would be a little more conducive for her."
The university offered guided tours of the campus and supplied lunch to the guests as well.
