A Windsor man has been charged and an arrest warrant has been issued for another man in a kidnapping investigation in Windsor.
Police says Thursday at 3pm, police were called to a convenience store on Strabane Ave.
An investigation found the alleged victim arranged to meet a man on Wyandotte St. East.
He got into a vehicle with the man and there was another man inside.
The two suspects threatened the victim and forced him to go to a home.
Both male suspects were known to the man who was able to escape, run to a convenience store and call police.
Windsor police constable Andrew Drouillard says the whole incident lasted a few hours and the victim was not hurt.
Blake Carter, 21, of Windsor is charged with kidnapping, robbery, forcible confinement, uttering death threats and breach of probation.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Anthony Pompa of Essex County who is wanted on charges of kidnapping, forcible confinement and uttering death threats.
