A new plaza on Division Rd. just south of Devonshire Mall is now open.
"Union Square" officially opened to the public earlier this week.
The plaza was built by Rock Developments and features a number of retail stores, restaurants, a personal training studio and a small financial institution.
President Rocco Tullio says there are three units remaining in phase one with potential tenants interested.
"We've got significant leads on the remaining two or three units so we're hoping to button those down in the next few weeks," says Tullio.

Tullio adds phase two is expected to start in September.
"We're in serious discussions with some major nationals, regionals and tenants so hopefully we'll be able to put some of those to bed and complete the project for some time next year," says Tullio.
The site was the previous home of Union Gas.
It sat vacant for seven years but Tullio started the development.
Some confirmed retailers and restaurants include Ashley Home Store, Freshii, Five Guys, Dollarama, Blaze Pizza and Qdoba.
Tullio says some businesses have already opened and the remaining will open later this summer.
The cost of the development is $25-million.
