Windsor Regional Hospital is on track to open a state-of-the-art kidney dialysis centre next month.
The $8-million facility will be located next to the hospital, in the Bell building on Goyeau St.
Vice President of Patient Relations, Monica Staley Liang says the facility will have 30 patient beds. "We have new dialysis machines, and most importantly for our new patients, we have new dialysis chairs and new TVs. It is all new and modern with the right space to house it."
The treatment centre will have its own parking lot and occupy three floors of the Bell building.
Liang says the hospital will hold an open house at the end of April.
The facility is slated to open May 8th.
