Some mixed news for a Windsor baby battling a rare genetic disorder.
According to the Miracle for Madalayna Facebook page, there is progress being made as her body accepts the bone marrow transplant from her brother.
Her white blood counts are slowly moving in the right direction.
On the down side, the family says Madalayna will be lucky if she can see at the end of the process.
She has really bad Nystagmus which is a condition where the eyes move rapidly and uncontrollably.
The family says there is no fix for it and the news is "heart crushing."
Madalayna had her transplant March 17th and is now on day 25 of the transplant.
The disorder Madalayna is suffering from attacks the vision and hearing and can be life threatening without the transplant.
