Meet Jordan McGrail, The Ontario NDP Candidate In ChathamKentLeamington

The Ontario NDP has picked its candidate to run in the riding of Chatham-Kent-Leamington.
Jordan McGrail won in a nomination election defeating Dan Gelinas on Saturday.
McGrail is a lab technologist in skilled trades at St. Clair College in Chatham in the robotics program.
For the past year and a half, she says she has been advocating for public services from hospital care to snow clearing on roads.
McGrail tells AM800 news, she wants to be a voice at Queen's Park.
"These public services are like social safety nets," she says. "Everybody in Ontario deserves to have these accesses and deserves to have them fully funded."
She says it is time for change in Chatham-Kent-Leamington which is currently held by PC MPP Rick Nicholls.
"I like to offer my ears to hear my fellow community's concerns. I have the skills, energy and heart to bring the government back to doing their job which is serving their communities, right?" she says.
This is McGrails' first run at politics.
The Ontario election is set for June 7th.
