The city is looking at improving the lighting at Cullen Field in west-Windsor.
In the 2017 draft budget, the city has set aside $500,000 for lighting upgrades at the ball diamond at Mic Mac Park.
Ron Smith is Manager of the Windsor Stars Senior Baseball team.
He says the current lighting system is not up to par.
"It's a regulation size field and we got seniors and juniors playing baseball there, you need good lighting and the lighting there is quite old and it's affecting the calibre of play," says Smith.
Smith says during the season, the team tries to avoid night games at the diamond.
City council will go over the budget on January 23rd.
The draft budget calls for a 2.7% increase.
