Leamington Attempted Murder Suspect Appears In Court

The 32yearold man suspected in a violent attack on another man Sunday morning has been remanded in custody

Provincial Police have released the name of the man accused in a violent incident in Leamington over the weekend.

32-year-old Nathan Horatio Mitchell is charged with attempted murder.

He made an appearance in court yesterday and has been remanded in custody.

A 42-year-old Leamington man was taken to hospital with 'life threatening' injuries following an incident Sunday morning.

Around 2:50 am, the OPP were called to the area of Oak St. E. and Plumbrook Dr. in Leamington.

The OPP's Emergency Response Team, K-9 Unit and Forensic Identification were on scene investigating for nearly 15 hours.
