The Municipality of Leamington is going to allow another way for residents to vote in the 2018 municipal election.
The town will now allow telephone voting along with Internet voting.
Councillor Larry Verbeke is glad the option is being allowed. "Some of the people didn't like the Internet in '14 when we went completely, and it was a change. Some people couldn't get the hang of it or didn't have the Internet, so it's down to about $70,000 it's going to cost to do both, which is down a little bit from I guess mailing."
Verbeke says the town also plans to set up computers at town hall and the Kinsmen Recreation Complex to assist those without a computer.
The 2018 municipal election is October 22nd.
