The win forces a fifth and deciding game between Toronto and Columbus Sunday night at 8pm.
Elsewhere, the Blackhawks topped the Oilers 3-2 to eliminate Edmonton from the post season.
The Canadiens shut out the Penguins 2-0 to win their series 3-1.
And in the late game, the Canucks downed the Wild 5-4 in overtime to advance with a 3-1 series win as well.
