LCBO Workers Say No To Privatization

Theyre fighting against the sale of beer and wine in grocery stores
Local liquor store workers are fighting back against the sale of beer, wine and cider at Ontario grocery stores.
Members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union staged an information picket line on the weekend at the LCBO near Tecumseh Mall.
The President of OPSEU Local 162, Jennifer Van Zetten, says the government is privatizing their jobs, one bottle at a time. "We're actually asking our customers to come out and join and in telling Kathleen Wynne we didn't vote to privatize the LCBO and to stop the expansion in the grocery stores as a social responsibility."
Beer, wine and cider are available at 130 grocery stores across the province.
That's expected to grow to 450 by the year 2020.
