Turkey with all the trimmings will be served Sunday at the Downtown Mission.
The mission is holding its annual Thanksgiving luncheon beginning at 11:30am.
Executive Director Ron Dunn says up to 300 people are expected to attend.
"All of our indicators are that it will be a full room so 250-300 people will be our guest at this moment, that's what we're preparing for," says Dunn.
He says a traditional thanksgiving meal will be served.
"Turkey and stuffing, mash potatoes, maybe some yams," says Dunn. "It's a big day, it's a big day for us for sure. Everybody wants to be with family on thanksgiving and around the holiday and that's what we're going to do."
Dunn says no one should be alone on Thanksgiving.
"We think it's a small increase this year but it's hard to say because there's other community events going on this year as well but certainly we'll be ready for whoever shows up," says Dunn.
Dunn says the luncheon is expected to wrap up around 1pm.
