Lancers Baseball Season Comes to an End
Backtoback losses Saturday knocked Windsor out of the Great Lakes Regional baseball championship
The Windsor Lancers are heading home after a couple of losses at the Great Lakes Regional baseball championship in Crestwood, Illinois.
After opening the tournament with a win over Wisconsin Friday, the Lancers fell to Michigan State 4-2 and Illinois 3-2 Saturday.
The back-to-back losses knocked Windsor out of contention.
The winner of the tournament will travel to North Carolina later this month for the NCBA World Series.
The Lancers went 19-3 overall this season.
