A delegation from a suburb of Seoul, South Korea is taking a look at local Catholic high school facilities.
The trip is part of the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board's international student exchange program.
There are currently 13 students from Korea in co-op programs at separate schools.
The Mayor of Guro City in South Korea, Lee Sung, says education is taken seriously in his country.
"They go through the same procedure, the same courses and they have to win their peers — it's very competitive," says Sung. "They high school life for three years in Korea is the toughest time in their life."
Guro is one of the cities the Catholic board's delegation to Asia visited last March.

Catholic board Superintendent of Innovation and Experiential Learning, Dan Fister, says the program helps open doors.
"It's a mutual benefit," says Fister. "\We open up our doors to our students internationally we learn from them, they certainly have an opportunity to learn from us and it's part of a bigger piece with respect to attracting international education recruitment from our end."
Fister adds continued visits help improve the relationships.
"Part of it is a partnership and part of it is building trust and I think in building trust you build relationships and by doing that you actually show the folks in Korea, the delegation here today in particular, what we have to offer so they can make a personal connection with the families at home."
Fister says the goal is to increase the number of Korean students coming to the Windsor-Essex board for education.
