The Town of Kingsville is looking for input on a new, five-year Parks, Recreation, Arts and Culture Master Plan.
Mayor Nelson Santos says the plan will help shape what's offered at town facilities and any improvements or changes that could be made.
"Lots can change in communities and as our community is growing we're trying to identify key activities and opportunities for quality of life issues," says Santos. "So parks and recreation, arts and culture are on the top of mind of many of our residents, enhancing our existing park lands."

He says it's important to know what the community wants.
"The traditional view of it is it's not just at the arena. We're looking for some recommendations that we will look to have incorporated in the plan," says Santos. "But more importantly is getting that feedback to ensure that, as we grow, we're not missing out on the important pieces of community living and the lifestyle that we're trying to provide in an active community as the Town of Kingsville is."
A draft Master Plan will be presented in Spring 2019 for further community feedback.
