JP Wisers Welcomes Royal Couple to Canada

Windsor distiller J.P Wiser's is welcoming Meghan and Harry to Canada with open arms.

A message on a digital billboard at 300 Ouellette Ave. in Windsor reads, "Meghan and Harry, looking for another Windsor? Let's get "Drinks Soon!"

The concept was developed by J.P Wiser's.

Senior Brand Manager Vanessa Clarke says when they heard that the Royal couple was looking to settle in Canada, they couldn't think of anywhere better than Windsor.

"We believe that it is a really great option when Meghan and Harry who are from the House of Windsor are considering for a new Canadian home, upon their evaluation of places to live in Canada," she says.

Earlier this week, Queen Elizabeth II agreed to grant Prince Harry and Meghan Markle their wish for a more independent life and move part-time to Canada.

Clarke says why not Windsor?

"People who are in the local community of Windsor just know what a great place it is to live, a wonderful community, something that we are proud to be part of, the distillery is an integral part of our story as a brand," she says.

The Royal couple is also being offered a tour of the distillery along Riverside Dr.

"We have been opening our distillery doors to many people over the years and no different to that, we would love to give them a warm Canadian welcome to Windsor," she says.
