Ontario's NDP is sounding the alarm over the sky rocketing cost of hydro which could result in the closure of an Essex County museum.
Essex MPP Taras Natyshak says the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village in Essex reached out to the NDP warning that it is receiving hydro bills so high that it doesn't know if it can keep the museum doors open.
Natyshak says the museum can't hire staff and can't grow their children's education program to reach more students in the region.
It has also put exhibition designs on the back burner and much needed capital projects have been put on hold.
