We now know who will be in attendance for Hometown Hockey when the event makes a stop in Windsor.
The weekend celebration will take place in Windsor next weekend November 19 and 20.
The festival will include appearances by former NHLer and Windsor native Ed Jovanovski, Florida Panthers defenceman and Belle River native Aaron Ekblad, Windsor Spitfires goaltender Michael Dipietro, as well as broadcast hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Slone.
The two-day hockey celebration gets underway Saturday, November 19 at noon at Riverfront Festival Plaza and concludes Sunday evening following the Hometown Hockey outdoor viewing party.
The evening’s broadcast kicks off with a special pre-game show hosted live on site by Ron MacLean starting at 7:00pm, followed by a showdown between the Calgary Flames and the Detroit Red Wings.
