It's been a tough seven days for residents and businesses impacted by last week's floods.
Residents living at The Alix Sinkevitch Townhouses on Ypres Avenue near Central Ave say all 72 units were flooded.
The residents at the geared to income housing complex say they still don't have hot water and it's been hard to get crews to come in and assist.
Noha Seddik says the past week hasn't been easy.
"It's been hell and it's still hell. A lot of us have young children, my sons are four and five, I can't give them a hot bath. I can't wash them at the end of the day. I have to go somewhere else to give them a bath. We still don't have hot water, we don't know when we will. We don't have furnaces. Our front lawns are filled with bugs and bees and it's disgusting."
Noha Seddik says many residents are feeling under the weather.
"Most of our units smell bad. It's muggy, moldy. Everything is on top of each other."
Hilna has lived at the complex for 10 years.
She says her and her son have been removing drywall from their unit.
"Like we had to take the drywall out and haul it upstairs. My 12-year-old was holding stuff like this and it's just horrible."
She adds it's been heartbreaking.
"When you lost your life like 10 years worth of stuff in your basement like I'm paying for my washer and dryer and they're gone and my insurance company won't even cover any of those losses. I don't know where to go from here like the government needs to acknowledge what's going on to us."
The residents say they still don't know when the hot water will be turned on.
