Son, Herman Lo, says his parents are looking forward to retirement. "It's been a long time. We've been in the business for a long time. My parents opened up the restaurant in '76 originally, moved here in '79. They've worked really hard, long hours and they're hoping to be able to have some free time to spend with my kid and my sister's kids. Well deserved."
"I'll always have fond memories of the restaurant," says Lo. "I grew up doing this actually. It's a family business. So we all worked to help out when times were lean. The economy in Windsor has been up and down, a lot of down, so you've got to work hard as a family to make it work."
Harvey Lo says, along with spending more time with the grand kids, he plans to take daily walks along Windsor's waterfront.
