Habitat for Humanity continues to expand across Essex County.
The local group is going to build its 63rd home in Kingsville.
Executive Director Mike Van der Vlist, says they used to be just Windsor based, but in the past few years they've been building homes for those in need throughout the county.
The build at 1056 Birch Ave. is planned for the spring of 2018.
"We like to plan ahead" says Van der Vlist. "It provides time for community groups to partner with habitat, to simply excite the community. It's not just a build, it's bringing the community together and the people who take away from it are not just the family who will live there and see their children grow up in a safe home, but the warmth that can be brought by working together."
Van der Vlist is putting a call out to the public or any community group that might be interested in donating or volunteering on the project.
