Ward one city councillor Fred Francis is looking forward to his ward meeting.
Tuesday night, Francis along with city staff will be meeting with Ward 1 residents at Roseland Golf and Country Club.
Francis says he has heard from a number of residents already that plan to attend.
He says he's expecting about 150 people to attend.
"I've already got several emails and phone calls from people letting me know they're coming and letting me know what their issues are which is great because we get to and be prepared when we're there," says Francis.
He says residents have reached out to him already with some topics they would like discussed.
"I hear everything from tree trimming that's an issue to people that have some concerns about their taxes and want to know why they're so high, from street repairs, to park beautification, to traffic calming initiatives," says Francis.
He says he's looking forward to the meeting.
"It's actually something every year on the calendar I circle because I enjoy it so much," says Francis. "Getting out there often times you meet with residents one on one and I'm happy to do that but meeting with residents in a group setting it certain takes you back to that campaign feel."
The two hour meeting begins at 6:30pm at Roseland Golf and Curling Club.
