A weapon seizure at the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel.
The Canada Border Services Agency says the incident took place on November 13.
CBSA officers seized a firearm and over-capacity magazine at the tunnel port of entry.
The subject was fined $420 and the travellers were refused entry into Canada.
Travellers are reminded to declare all firearms at the border.
To import firearms into Canada you must have a valid purpose which includes hunting during hunting season or for repair.
Visitors to Canada cannot, under any circumstances, import prohibited firearms, prohibited devices or prohibited weapons.
